NTTA Safe-T Buzz Team at WALK like MADD

The NTTA already partners with Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) to educate the public on how to keep North Texas roads safe. In April, NTTA staff members will join the fight against drunk driving, as the “NTTA Safe-T Buzz Team” participates in the WALK like MADD event in Uptown Dallas on April 24.

WALK like MADD is a relaxed, community-driven, 5-kilometer walk that raises funds for MADD. This family-friendly event features a Teen Scene area with a DJ; a Tot Spot with games, face painting and prizes; and a health and safety fair for the whole family.

Last year, more than 3,000 walkers participated and raised $135,000 for MADD North Texas. This year’s goal is $170,000; however, there is no minimum fundraising amount required for participation.  Sign up online today to attend the Dallas WALK like MADD.
