Big improvements on the Dallas North Tollway

Smooth-flowing traffic is not fast traffic, but the slowdown is actually beneficial. It is safer for motorists to travel with deliberate caution through a construction zone.

There will be occasions when additional lane closures are needed, but they will be brief and typically at night when traffic is light.
When construction supervisors schedule changes, the NTTA will notify its customers in several ways:
·        Roadside information signs
·        Project Information Line: 214-224-3030
·        On-line at www.ntta.org
·        This eNewsletter
If you have questions, you can e-mail websupport@ntta.org. A flyer with more information about the project is available in pdf format at www.ntta.org.

Project highlights:

· Oak Lawn Avenue is being widened and the Tollway bridge over Oak Lawn is being rebuilt. New access lanes between Oak Lawn and the Tollway are being added.
· The Wycliff Toll Plaza is being replaced.
· Tollway pavement from Lemmon Avenue south to Maple Avenue is being replaced.
· The Tollway bridge at Wycliff is being widened and the bridge at Cedar Springs will be replaced.
