TollTag Basics:
Answers to Your Questions

Q: I received an invoice for a car I no longer own. What should I do?

A: The reason you received an invoice is most likely because Texas Department of Motor Vehicles records still show you as the registered owner of the vehicle.

If you traded the vehicle in to a dealership, fax a copy of the dealership sales contract, dealership trade in contract or the odometer disclosure statement showing the dealership taking ownership to NTTA Customer Service at (214) 461-2085. If you sold the vehicle to an individual, file a Vehicle Transfer Notification (VTN) with the DMV.
