NTTA Joins DART Safety Day Staff from the NTTA’s Communications and System and Incident Management departments participated in a safety event hosted by Dallas Area Rapid Transit in Garland on June 18.
Despite the 100-plus degree temperatures, approximately 100 people visited the NTTA’s booth to experience drunk driving simulation goggles, pledge to never text and drive, learn about NTTA safety initiatives and register to receive future Safe-T Buzz newsletters and alerts from the NTTA.
One person’s name was drawn to win a road trip safety prize package that included a blanket, rain ponchos, a travel mug, travel chairs, and a roadside emergency kit with jumper cables, tools and a reflector.
