New Signs on
Business 121 New signs and pavement markings on Business 121 in Lewisville are now in place to help motorists navigate the new connection to the service roads on the 121 Tollway. The NTTA worked with TxDOT to add signage and lane striping, which informs drivers of the decision to either enter the 121 Tollway or stay on the service roads.
Drivers may remain on the service roads by making a few simple turns. From Business 121, turn right on FM 544/Parker Road. This allows motorists access to both northbound and southbound service roads.
The NTTA installed the new directional signage in response to considerable customer feedback. When Segment 2 of the 121 Tollway opened in September, the ramp off Business 121 to the service road was closed as planned. This tolling plan and design schematic for this area received final approval by all local, regional, state and federal parties in April 2006 following extensive public involvement including public meetings.
