Conversion to Cashless Tolling on Schedule for Dec. 10

Two years in the making, the NTTA will convert its remaining cash facilities to a cashless toll collection system on the evening of Dec. 10. Beginning Dec. 11 cash toll payments will no longer be accepted on the Dallas North Tollway, the Mountain Creek Lake Bridge or the Addison Airport Toll Tunnel. Read More ›

Second Direct-Connect Ramp Opens at Sam Rayburn Tollway/U.S. 75 Interchange; Progress Continues at Dallas North Tollway Interchange

The NTTA opened its second major direct-connector on the new Sam Rayburn Tollway/U.S. 75 interchange on Nov. 14, giving motorists on southbound U.S. 75 direct access to southwest-bound SRT.

Drivers who take the new connector ramp from southbound U.S. 75 to the southwest-bound SRT will be assessed toll charges at various exit ramps or at SRT main lane gantries. Read More ›

PGBT Western Extension Construction Heats Up
Crews are maintaining a steady pace of construction along Phase 4 of the President George Bush Turnpike Western Extension project. Excavation work required to build the future toll road under Egyptian Way continues north of Interstate 30. In addition, various traffic switches are being incorporated at the I-30 interchange to accommodate future detours.
