Public Meetings on Dallas North Tollway Extension Scheduled for March

Progress continues on the planning of the Dallas North Tollway Extension Project Phase 4B/5A. Stakeholders have been meeting with NTTA staff since October 2009 to develop and refine several alignment alternatives. The NTTA is now ready to bring the alignment alternatives to the public for review and comment.

To accommodate the expanded study area, which reaches into multiple counties, two public meetings are being scheduled for early March 2010. One meeting will be held in Denton County and the other in Collin County. Both meetings will be conducted in an open house format -- allowing members of the community to come and go at their convenience. All members of the public are invited to attend either meeting.

The meetings allow the public the opportunity to review and comment on the alignment alternatives being considered for this project. Interested citizens will be provided an opportunity to offer written and/or verbal comments at the public meetings. Exact dates, locations and times for the meetings will be posted on the NTTA Web site no later than 30 days prior to the meetings.
