The NTTA premiered its new Safe-T Buzz newsletter in December. The quarterly newsletter is focused on providing valuable and timely safety information and tips to drivers from leading safety experts.
The winter edition of the Safe-T Buzz newsletter features tips about driving safely in winter weather and construction zones. Each quarterly newsletter will be tailored with information for the season.
The NTTA launched the Safe-T Buzz program in late 2009 to educate the public, ensure efficient mobility and make our roadways safer for everyone. In order to fulfill the mission of the Safe-T Buzz program, the NTTA has participated in festivals and events to share safety tips and provide people with hands-on simulations of driving dangers, and it has organized events for the public to share ideas about safety measures. NTTA staff also has worked with local public safety officials to target problems facing drivers.
