All-Electronic Toll Collection Update

The NTTA is pleased to report the transition to cashless tolling on the Dallas North Tollway was completed with no  major vehicular accidents. We want to thank you, our drivers, for your patience and vigilance during the transition. We anticipate construction continuing through mid-2011 to remove old tolling structures on the DNT. Read More ›

Project Updates

Two New Direct-Connectors Opening Soon on SRT/U.S. 75 Interchange; Crews Re-open DNT Exit to Gaylord Parkway in Frisco
The NTTA expects to open additional direct-connecting ramps on the new Sam Rayburn Tollway/U.S. 75 interchange in coming weeks.

The connector from northeast-bound SRT to southbound U.S. 75  will open Saturday, Dec. 18, followed by the connector from northbound U.S. 75 to the southwest-bound SRT later this month. These openings mean that a total of four direct-connectors will open to motorists, helping to more efficiently move traffic through the interchange.  Read More ›



NTTA to Host Town Hall Meeting for President George Bush Turnpike Eastern Extension
As the President George Bush Turnpike Eastern Extension project passes 60-percent completion, the NTTA will host a town hall meeting to provide the public with the latest construction and traffic information. The meeting is scheduled for Jan. 20 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Sachse City Hall, 3815 Sachse Road, Building B, Sachse, Texas.  Read More ›

NTTA Asks Drivers to 'Tie One On For Safety'
Aiming to help keep its toll roads safe, the NTTA is sponsoring the Mothers Against Drunk Driving North Texas “Tie One On For Safety” campaign.

MADD created ‘Tie One On For Safety’, originally named the ‘Project Red Ribbon’ campaign, in 1986 to help heighten public awareness about drinking and driving during the holiday season.  It was designed to encourage drivers to take action against drunken driving by tying a red MADD ribbon to their vehicle’s antenna or side mirror.  Read More ›
