NTTA Cares: Giving Back to Our Community

True to its goal of being a customer-driven organization, the NTTA embraces the opportunity to give back to our customers in the communities in which we work and live. Over the holidays, NTTA employees made an impact in the lives of many north Texans.
Several families were adopted as part of the Annual Home for the Holidays Adopt-a-Family Program sponsored by the City of Dallas. Employees contributed clothes, toys, and a bicycle for the families.

Our maintenance teams adopted an entire shelter of The Family Place. The Family Place is the largest family violence service provider in the Dallas area. Their donations of clothes, toys and household items will allow families associated with the program to purchase the personal and household items they need using vouchers.

To help provide a positive holiday experience, employees collected toys and clothing donations for the children of Jonathan’s Place. Jonathan’s Place provides emergency residential care for children in crisis, newborn through 17 years old, for up to three months, depending on the age and circumstances of each child.

The North Texas region is our home, too, and the NTTA is committed to improving mobility and our communities during the holiday season and beyond.
