Tollway Extension Phase 3 Through Frisco Headed for an On-time opening in September Here are some of the latest milestones:
• The last bridge beams for the DNT Phase 3 Extension were set for the Lebanon Road Bridge in early May.
• The new Lebanon Road Bridge is expected to open to traffic in late June resulting in an end to detours that motorists have been patient with since last September.
• Final preparations on the Warren Parkway Bridge, including traffic signal installation and lane striping, occurred in mid-May. Once these efforts were completed, Warren Parkway is scheduled to re-open all crossing lanes to traffic in early June.
• Light fixtures and overhead sign gantries are currently being installed on the south end of the Tollway Extension Phase 3.
There is also a notable amount of residential and business development on both sides of the Tollway Extension in Frisco. Seems everyone is getting ready for the new roadway to open.
When the Tollway Extension is open, it will provide a more convenient route to and from downtown Dallas for motorists coming from Prosper, Little Elm, The Colony and Frisco.
