Roadway Customer Service Team Handles it All The team’s name says it all.
If you can think of a need a driver may encounter while on one of the NTTA’s nearly 80 miles of roadways, chances are the Roadway Customer Service (RCS) team can help. This free service is part of NTTA’s ongoing efforts to provide a safe travel experience.
In April alone, the team changed 192 flat tires, provided enough fuel to 104 gas tanks to get drivers safely to a gas station, and provided traffic protection for 297 stranded motorists.
The team also aired low tires, added water to radiators, jump-started dead batteries, pushed and pulled vehicles out of the roadway, helped people with directions to their destinations, and made minor vehicle repairs. When all else failed, the RCS team drove 27 people to a safe location, all in a single month. Over the past eight months, the team has assisted NTTA customers about 5,000 times. The service is free as a courtesy to drivers on our roads.
The RCS team operates on three shifts 24-hours a day. The team patrols NTTA roadways in search stranded drivers. When motorists call the emergency number on their TollTags, the calls are routed to the NTTA Command Center, and the Roadway Customer Service team is quickly dispatched.
So, if you find yourself on one of our tollways with just three good tires, an overheated radiator or a dead battery, give the Roadway Customer Service team a call. They are always happy to help.
