NTTA Going All-Electronic
Toll collection on all North Texas Tollway Authority facilities will be cashless in 2010. In August of 2007, the NTTA board of directors approved the gradual system-wide transition to ZipCash, the NTTA’s term for electronic, or cashless, toll collection. This transition offers many benefits to motorists and the region including: enhanced safety, improved traffic flow and, for customers without a TollTag, the convenience of ‘driving now and paying later.’ more» |

State Highway 121 Groundbreaking
 Using ceremonial shovels, NTTA representatives and regional dignitaries turned dirt on the roadway, signifying the official beginning of the NTTA’s involvement in constructing the remaining segments ofSH 121. |
NTTA Closed for Holiday 
The NTTA Customer Service Center, TollTag and Administrative offices will be closed on Friday, March 21, 2008 and Saturday, March 22, 2008 in observance of Good Friday.
All NTTA toll roads, main lane and ramp plazas will be open during the holiday. |

NTTA Hosts Contractor Outreach Seminar
 The NTTA hosted a contractor outreach seminar to provide detailed information about upcoming construction activities, procedures for bidding and doing business with the NTTA. The seminar also provided networking opportunities for prime contractors and subcontractors, which assists in the NTTA’s Business Opportunity Policy and Program. Representatives from firms interested in providing services to the NTTA in the construction of State Highway 121 and the Eastern Extension ofthe President George Bush Turnpike attended the event. More sessions like this are being planned. |
