Dallas North Tollway in Bloom

Redbud trees planted earlier this year along the Dallas North Tollway (DNT) in Frisco are now blooming, adding a lovely pink hue along the side of the road. Customers on the DNT will continue to see more trees, shrubs and grasses planted as the landscaping project moves into the spring and summer months. The landscaping is currently 68 percent complete and installation is scheduled to end in August 2009.

The NTTA’s landscaping program is designed to be sustainable, aesthetic and native with the natural environment.  We consistently implement landscaping designs that will screen unwanted elements and views, buffer adjacent land uses and mitigates traffic noise – all which lead to a better, overall driving experience.
