Now Online: 2010 Annual Summary Report and NTTA Check Register

As part of its strategic goal to provide open and honest communication with our customers and stakeholders, the NTTA invites customers to review the Authority’s 2010 Annual Summary Report. The report contains an unaudited snapshot of financial information and milestones reached in 2010.

NTTA staff is dedicated to fulfilling the Authority’s mission of enhancing mobility through responsible and innovative tolling solutions. Our aim is to provide you with a positive driving experience while also maximizing efficiencies and keeping a close eye on costs. Throughout the report you will find charts and updates about how we did in 2010, including:

Progress on new roadway construction and existing roadway expansions
  • The NTTA’s financial status
  • The number of TollTags in use on NTTA roads
  • The average number of new TollTags distributed each week
  • Community partnerships and social responsibility programs
  • Environmental initiatives
  • Safety programs
  • Customer-driven initiatives
  • National awards
We also have added our check register to our website’s Investor Information section. This allows interested parties to view payments to suppliers, vendors and other payees as far back as January 2008.

By posting our check register online, the NTTA provides the public with the opportunity to see the flow of its expenditures. The register shows expenses incurred by the NTTA over the last three years, including the most current month. With the posting of the check register, the NTTA is in line with the “gold standards” in transparency as outlined by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts.
