Downtown Fort Worth Inc.’s 30th annual meeting focused on area transportation projects and related construction. This year’s event, held on April 5, attracted more than 300 participants and featured Texas Transportation Commissioner Bill Meadows as the keynote speaker.

Bush Turnpike Western Extension Forging Ahead in Downtown Grand Prairie

In downtown Grand Prairie, the south side of the Jefferson Street bridge recently opened, including access from the bridge to both north- and southbound State Highway 161 frontage roads, as work continues on the Western Extension of the President George Bush Turnpike.

Pavement Repairs to Occur on the Western Portion of the Sam Rayburn Tollway in May

Starting in early May, NTTA maintenance staff will begin pavement repairs on sections of the Sam Rayburn Tollway in Denton County. Throughout the project, crews will remove and replace cracked or worn out pavement on the toll road’s main lanes and frontage roads.

Board Approves Maintenance Management Consultant

The NTTA Board of Directors approved staff’s recommendation of multi-disciplinary engineering firm VRX to serve as the maintenance management consultant. The maintenance department will begin negotiations for the maintenance management consultant services contract. Read More ›



Bush Turnpike Eastern Extension Now on Google Maps


Main lanes connecting to I-30 frontage roads to open soon


Motorists can now find the recently opened Eastern Extension of the President George Bush Turnpike as a route on Google Maps. 
 
Google Map users will find the Eastern Extension as a continuous route through Garland, Sachse and Rowlett to destinations around the Metroplex. Read More ›

The NTTA is a proud supporter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving and recently participated in the annual Walk Like MADD 5K event on April 21 in downtown Dallas.
