Town Hall Meeting to Focus on Roadway Safety

To improve safety on our roadways and give motorists the most up-to-date safety information, the NTTA will launch its new SafeTBuzz campaign beginning with a town hall meeting at 7 p.m. Dec. 15 in the NTTA Board Room at the NTTA headquarters, 5900 W. Plano Parkway, in Plano.  (The entrance to the NTTA Board Room is on the west side of the NTTA headquarters).

NTTA safety experts will share information about drunk-driving incidents on NTTA roadways and offer tips on how to keep your family safe—whether it’s spotting possible drunk drivers before an accident occurs or checking your tires for tread wear and proper inflation. The forum also will include an opportunity for NTTA customers to ask questions, raise concerns, or share their ideas for improved safety.

The meeting is timed to fall in the busy season of holiday celebrations.

“During this time of year, people are relishing the joy of life, and our program focuses on how important it is to never lose sight of that through risky behavior such as drinking and driving,” said the NTTA’s Director of System Incident Management Marty Legé.

Don’t miss this opportunity to become a part of the solution to safer roadways.
