Nina Arias has joined the NTTA as the Director of Human Resources. Her responsibilities within this position will include the planning, administration, direction and overall management, operation and maintenance of the Human Resources Department.

 

Arias comes to the NTTA with more than 10 years of experience in human resources management, including previous work with federal and state government agencies. She specializes in organizational development, employee relations, project management and regulation compliance. Prior to joining the NTTA, Arias worked as a Human Resources Manager for Michaels Stores, a Fortune 500 corporation located in Irving. Responsibilities in this role included the management of all areas of human resources for assigned business units.

 

Previously, Arias was employed in the insurance industry in South America, where she gained interest in human resources through her work in recruiting, training and leading the sales force.

 

Arias holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the Central University of Columbia and has completed a Management Fellowship Program through the Anderson School of Business at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
