NTTA's New Roads Mean Better Mobility North Texas motorists have found relief from bottlenecks and heavy traffic now that two additional roadways joined the NTTA System.
Drivers in northern Denton and Dallas counties now can sail across Lewisville Lake Toll Bridge (LLTB) to travel between IH 35 and the Dallas North Tollway. The bridge is 1.7 miles long and boasts a lighted, 360-foot-arch near the center of the bridge that is tied together 58 feet above the top of the bridge deck. Also at its center, the 8-foot-thick bridge deck structure sits 52 feet above the Lewisville Lake spillway elevation, meaning that the top of the arch soars 118 feet above the lake surface. It features two lanes in each direction and an all-electronic toll collection (all-ETC) system on the project’s western approach. With all-ETC, drivers will not have to stop or look for change to pay the toll needed to drive over the bridge.
Dallas Cowboys fans can spend more time at their tailgate party and less time in tailgating traffic by taking the President George Bush Turnpike to State Highway (SH) 161, a joint effort between the NTTA and the Texas Department of Transportation. The corridor project, still under construction, will result in a new, approximately 11.5-mile link in the growing loop around Dallas.
The easiest way to travel these and any other NTTA road is with a TollTag. Click here to see just how much you can save over ZipCash customers on these and other NTTA roadways.
