NTTA Board Elects New Officers, Welcomes Two New Directors

At its regularly scheduled September meeting, the NTTA Board of Directors elected Victor T. Vandergriff and David (Dave) R. Denison to chairman and vice chairman, respectively.  Tarrant County appointed Vandergriff to the board in September 2007.  He most recently served as the board’s vice chairman. 

Vandergriff is an attorney and private businessman specializing in business development and legislative issues. His current civic and community activities include serving as the chairman of the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles Board and chairman of the Planning and Zoning Commission for the City of Arlington. Cashless Toll Collection: Town Hall in October; Conversion Prompts Transitions/Reduction in Force

Do you have questions about the NTTA’s upcoming conversion on Dec. 10 to cashless tolling?  If so, plan on attending the NTTA’s Cashless Toll Collection Town Hall meeting Oct. 26, from 5:30 to 8 p.m., in the NTTA Boardroom, 5900 W. Plano Parkway in Plano. 

The come-and-go meeting will provide the ideal opportunity for motorists to have their questions answered and to learn more about the NTTA’s move to cashless toll collection. Exit Ramp in McKinney to Re-open to Traffic as Progress Continues on Major Sam Rayburn Tollway Interchanges
Crews continue to make progress on construction of two major interchanges connecting U.S. 75 and the Dallas North Tollway with the Sam Rayburn Tollway.  The northbound U.S. 75 (Central Expressway) exit to Eldorado Parkway in McKinney is expected to re-open to traffic in mid-October 2010. Read More ›

After four decades in the making, the NTTA began moving dirt in mid-April 2010 on the northern-most section of the Southwest Parkway/Chisholm Trail Parkway project.
