NTTA Vice Chairman David Denison and Director Bill Moore recently were reappointed by their counties to serve additional two-year terms on the NTTA board of directors.
The Denton County Commissioners Court approved Denison’s reappointment on July 19. Denison has served on the board since October 2005.
The Collin County Commissioners Court approved Moore’s reappointment on July 25. Moore has been a member of the Board since September 2009.
The NTTA is governed by a nine-member board of directors. Two members are appointed by each of the four counties within the NTTA’s service area (Dallas, Denton, Collin and Tarrant counties). The governor of Texas appoints one member from an adjacent county. The members of the board of directors serve staggered, two-year terms, and no member may be an elected official. Under the NTTA bylaws, the directors elect a chairman and vice chairman every year.
