Workshops Support Business Diversity

The NTTA Business Diversity Department recently completed a series of contracting and compliance workshops designed to provide information and solicit feedback regarding the new business diversity contracting and compliance program. The program supports the NTTA Board of Directors’ new diversity policy, which was adopted in January 2010. More than 70 participants attended the workshop sessions during which Business Diversity Director Anthony Coleman provided an overview of the major components of the new contracting and compliance handbook. Coleman also discussed requirements and goals for NTTA contracts and procurements, and he provided an overview of the programs for disadvantaged, minority- and woman owned and small business enterprises, which are outlined in the NTTA’s new diversity policy.
