Dallas North Tollway – Phase 3

Beginning September 6, under an agreement with the City of Frisco, the NTTA closed Lebanon Road at the Dallas Parkway and created a detour for Lebanon Road traffic in both directions.  The purpose of the closure is to build the Lebanon Road underpass needed to complete the DNT.  With traffic taking a safer route around the construction site, the roadway contractor will be able to complete the underpass safely and in less time.  Eastbound Lebanon traffic will be detoured via a new U-turn at John Hickman Road while Westbound Lebanon traffic will be detoured via a U-turn on the recently completed Stonebrook Parkway bridge.  The underpass construction will take place between the service roads and is anticipated to be completed by June 2007.
