NTTA Board Chooses Alignment for Dallas North Tollway Extension
At its regularly scheduled July meeting, the NTTA Board of Directors chose an alignment for the Phase 4B/5A extension of the Dallas North Tollway.  The selected alignment straddles the Collin-Denton county line and extends 11.9 miles from FM 423 in Collin County to FM 121 in Grayson County.  “Though planned for well in the future, both Denton and Collin counties will benefit from the economic development associated with NTTA roadways,” said NTTA Board Vice Chairman Victor Vandergriff. Read More ›



Work Continues on Cashless Tolling Conversion
Crews continue to work on the conversion to cashless tolling on the Dallas North Tollway between Interstate 635 and Parker Road. In late June and early July, work zones were set up to allow the crews to construct the outside columns for the main lane gantries at Trinity Mills Road and Parker Road. Construction Moves Forward as Eastern Extension Project Nears Half-way Point
The much anticipated President George Bush Turnpike Eastern Extension project is nearing the half-way point and is expected to open to traffic in approximately 18 months. The Eastern Extension is a portion of the outer loop around Dallas and its suburbs that connects Interstate 30 to the existing President George Bush Turnpike. It is part of the Loop 9/State Highway 190 corridor first envisioned in the 1960s. Read More ›



Public Offers Input on SH 360 Corridor Project
The NTTA and the Texas Department of Transportation held a public meeting in June to give the public an opportunity to comment on the proposed alignment of Section 1 of the State Highway 360 corridor project. Section 1 extends from Green Oaks Boulevard/Kingswood Boulevard in Tarrant County to U.S. 287 in Ellis and Johnson counties. Read More ›
