Where Do Your Tolls Go?

As a regular TollTag customer, you may have wondered where your tolls are going and how that revenue is used.  Now you can read how your tolls contribute to North Texas' improved mobility, economic development and more in the NTTA’s latest edition of eTa (estimated Time of arrival).

The NTTA is dedicated to making sure the tolls you pay are put to work to improve regional mobility.  The eTa contains information explaining how each time a vehicle passes through a toll booth, the funds collected go toward the construction, maintenance and operation of NTTA roadways.  This, in return, helps the NTTA stay true to the mission of enhancing mobility in the region and allows the Authority to have a substantial impact on traffic congestion.  In turn, you are also helping the NTTA create full-time jobs and address environmental concerns as well.

So, next time you are on an NTTA roadway, know that with each pass under a toll gantry, you are helping to advance transportation, improve travel times, and keep the roadways safer.
