Government Affairs: The 2008 New Year’s Edition

In the New Year, the North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) will make some important changes to our organization which we believe will enhance our relationships not only with our customers, but also with you – our elected leadership and supporters of the NTTA.

In order to broaden our outreach at the local, state and federal levels, the NTTA is elevating its Government Affairs program to be more responsive to the needs of your constituents and our customers.  In December 2007, the NTTA promoted Carrie Rogers to the position of Assistant Director of Government Affairs.  As part of this growing initiative, the NTTA will continue to expand its outreach in the region, including hiring additional staff to focus on cities, member counties and community organizations to better understand the local needs along our project corridors.

For more information on the NTTA’s Government Affairs program, please contact Carrie Rogers at (214) 224-2269 or crogers@ntta.org.

The NTTA Remains Committed to Working with Partners

The NTTA continues its work with local and state officials to move forward on several important projects in the Metroplex, including Southwest Parkway in Tarrant County, SH 121 in Collin, Dallas and Denton Counties, the Eastern Extension of the President George Bush Turnpike.
