Government Affairs Update The 111th U.S. Congressional Session will convene on Jan. 6, just a week before the 81st Texas Legislative Session begins on Jan. 13. There has been ongoing legislative outreach across the state as elected officials and transportation agencies prepare for both sessions.
The NTTA Board of Directors spent the last months of 2008 meeting with North Texas elected officials to discuss important legislative initiatives. The NTTA looks forward to continuing to work with its partners during the sessions and serving as a resource to both the DFW Congressional and Legislative delegations as they work to develop transportation legislation.
