Market Valuation For Southwest Parkway (TxDOT)/Chisholm Trail Underway
An important step was taken to advance another critical mobility project for north Texas.

Leaders from the North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) and the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) met on April 22 to begin the market valuation process for the TxDOT sections of Southwest Parkway (Altamesa to FM 1187) and Chisholm Trail (FM 1187 to U.S. 67).

When complete, Southwest Parkway (TxDOT)/Chisholm Trail will be a 19-mile extension of Southwest Parkway that will extend from Altamesa Boulevard in Tarrant County to U.S. 67 in Johnson County. This would offer an alternate north-south route to and from Fort Worth. more »

Construction to Begin on Bush Turnpike Extension in June

Activity on the President George Bush Turnpike Eastern Extension is intensifying as the North Texas Tollway Authority prepares to begin construction on a section of the 9.9-mile corridor in June.

New NTTA System Map Now Available

NTTA has published a new System Map including State Highway 121 and other mobility projects throughout north Texas.

The brochure also includes general information about NTTA, including toll rate information, as well as instructions to get a TollTag or to add TollTags to your existing account. The brochure folds out to reveal a map for all north Texas arteries and highways. more »
Flurry of Activity Occurring on SH 121

NTTA is proposing a design change to the State Highway (SH) 121 project in which the main lanes would be built over Exchange Parkway in the cities of Allen and McKinney.

Work on Bush Turnpike Retaining Walls Continues

Work is progressing on the renovation work at the southwest end of the President George Bush Turnpike in Irving. Crews are busy, up to six days each week, replacing existing retaining walls between MacArthur Boulevard and Los Colinas Boulevard, eastbound and westbound. more »

Input Sought at Upcoming Public Meeting
The NTTA has scheduled a public meeting during the month of June to receive input on the interchange at the intersection of U.S. 75 and State Highway 121 in McKinney.
