NTTA Board Committees NTTA’s Board of Directors Chairman, Paul N. Wageman, recently appointed new members to the board’s four committees:
Administration Committee
Alan E. Sims, Chairman – Dallas County Appointee
Gary Base – Collin County Appointee
Dave Denison – Denton County Appointee
The responsibilities of the Administration Committee include reviewing the proposed budget for the ensuing NTTA fiscal year and preparing recommendations to the NTTA Board of Directors. The Administration Committee also reviews the performance and compensation of the Executive Director and monitors the compensation plans, health insurance and retirement plans of the NTTA.
NTTA System Projects and Improvements Committee
Paul N. Wageman, Chairman – Collin County Appointee
Robert K. Shepard – Governor’s Appointee
Victor Vandergriff – Tarrant County Appointee
The responsibilities of the NTTA System Projects and Improvements Committee include oversight of planning, design and construction of NTTA projects.
Legislative Committee
Bill Meadows, Chairman – Tarrant County Appointee
Bob Day – Dallas County Appointee
Victor Vandergriff – Tarrant County Appointee
The responsibilities of the Legislative Committee include preparation of NTTA’s legislative agenda, as well as monitoring of local, state and national legislation affecting NTTA’s interests.
Audit Committee
Gary Base, Chairman – Collin County Appointee
Bob Day – Dallas County Appointee
Mike Nowels – Denton County Appointee
The Audit Committee is a newly formed committee that will be responsible for reviewing and monitoring the internal audit function. The committee will also review the annual external audit.
