Economic Recovery Workshop Promotes Partnership

NTTA Business Diversity and Project Delivery departments, along with representatives from the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), helped support Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson with a workshop in April to discuss economic recovery opportunities for women, minorities and veterans. NTTA’s Southwest Parkway project manager was on hand at the event and provided an overview and timeline of our only project to receive American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funds. TxDOT also provided an overview of economic recovery projects and the process for bidding on those projects.
