Ramp to Close from Westbound SH 121 to Southbound U.S. 75

Construction is progressing on the Sam Rayburn Tollway Section 4 at U.S. 75. Beginning on Monday, May 3, 2010, the contractor will permanently close the existing ramp from westbound SH 121 to southbound U.S. 75. The closure will begin at the existing exit to southbound U.S. 75. This ramp will remain closed and be replaced by a new permanent direct connector currently being constructed. The new ramp is scheduled to open in December 2010.

In the interim, all motorists traveling from westbound SH 121 to southbound U.S. 75 will detour over U.S. 75 to Hardin Boulevard then make a u-turn under the Sam Rayburn Tollway main lanes and travel on the eastbound frontage road to U.S. 75 southbound lanes.

The contractor will place signs notifying motorists of the permanent ramp closure and marking the detour route. The NTTA appreciates the patience of the traveling public and reminds everyone to drive safely in work zones.
