NTTA Board Welcomes New Directors

The North Texas Tollway Authority Board of Directors welcomed two new members this month and elected a chairman, Paul N. Wageman representing Collin County, and a vice-chairman, Jack Miller, representing Denton County.

Mr. Wageman of Plano, who was elected Chairman by his Board peers this month, is an attorney with the law firm Winstead Sechrest & Minick in Dallas. He is beginning his fourth term on the NTTA Board representing Collin County and is a former member of the Texas Sunset Advisory Commission and of the North Texas Commission.

Lane Changes To Enter Dallas North Tollway

The North Texas Tollway Authority will reduce the number of lanes at the Wycliff Avenue main lane toll plaza to eight – four in each direction – during coming months so that a new plaza can be built. Throughout the construction period, there will be two express lanes and two cash-only lanes open in each direction.

Lebanon Road to detour at Tollway until June

The North Texas Tollway Authority, under an agreement with the City of Frisco, temporarily closed Lebanon Road at Dallas Parkway and created a detour for Lebanon Road traffic in both directions. The purpose of the closure is to build the Lebanon Road underpass needed to complete the Dallas North Tollway (DNT).

SH 121 Continues To Be Free For Now

State Highway 121 in Denton County will remain a toll road without a toll until equipment testing is complete, according to Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) officials. Testing could be completed as early as late November of this year or as late as January or February of next year, according to official statements.

Car Renters Pay Tolls Without Stopping

Car renters in the DFW area can now pay tolls without stopping at a toll booth. Rental cars will be paying their way when they use the toll roads of North Texas, thanks to a new agreement between the North Texas Tollway Authority and Rent A Toll Ltd.™, a Plano-based technology services company.
