Lebanon road to detour at Tollway until June With traffic taking a safer route around the construction site, the roadway contractor will be able to complete the underpass safely and in less time. The underpass construction will take place between the service roads and is anticipated to be completed by June 2007.
Overall, the extension of the Dallas North Tollway to US 380 is on schedule, thanks to favorable weather and cooperative contractors. Cooperation between the City of Frisco and the NTTA has been a major factor in the success of the project. Together, city leaders and the NTTA Board have implemented important changes in the project so that the new Tollway will better fit Frisco’s needs related to growth and development.
Here is how the detours at Lebanon Road will work:
Westbound Lebanon Road:
When traffic reaches the Dallas Parkway, it will proceed north on the Parkway to the Stonebrook Parkway turnaround where it can return south to the west side of Lebanon Road.
Eastbound Lebanon Road:
When traffic reaches the Dallas Parkway, it will proceed south on the Parkway to the turnaround for the future John Hickman Road, where it can return north to the east side of Lebanon Road. (Please see map)
